review: Indoor Voices – S/T

Indoor Voices are a Canadian band, hailing from Toronto to be exact. To begin a mouthful, this band consists of Owen Davies (A Northern Chorus/Bellewoods), Ryan Gassi (Memory Bank), Craig Hopgood (Huddle & Beneath Augusta), Jonathan Relph (Junetile) and Kate Rogers (The Kate Rogers Band), the five piece clearly have enough experience, so I’m expecting big things.

Being a giant emo kid, I can be stuck in my ways of twinkle and crying but this four track EP transports me in to a dreamland of pure shoegaze. Tracks are linked together perfectly, without making one long song. Featured are seven (yes, seven) guest vocalists as well as their previous gem So Smart. Watch the darling video here. Turn the lights off, get some candles lit and put this EP on. You will be left in a blissful state of relaxation.
